Personal Information :

Paul attended his first racing event at the young age of 4 with his parents at the Orange County Speedway in Middletown, NY. For the first few years Paul would fall asleep before the feature events were run, but as time went on he became a fan of Danny Johnson in the Dirt Modified ranks.

It was not until the summer of 2004 that Paul went from being a fan of racing to a participant. Until that time he was heavily involved with baseball, and was a very good pitcher for local and travel teams he played on. At the age of 12 Paul pitched a no-hitter for his local team that included striking out 17 of the 18 batters he faced. It was actually a travel team baseball game that brought Paul to racing in the summer of 2004. On a hot July day Paul and his team played a 6 hour seven inning game that ended with Paul’s team winning 42-9! To say the lease the excitement level was not great, and Paul’s dad thought maybe it was time to get involved in racing instead of just watching.

They went the next weekend to a local dirt track that ran flat track quads and motorcycles and Paul was hooked. They purchased a Yamaha 200cc Blaster quad and went racing. Paul immediately found success with many victories and top five finishes on his quad. Paul topped his quad racing career off by winning an open stock division dash race, in which he beat 2 other quads that were equipped with 300cc engine against his 200cc engine and won his first $75 paycheck.

Paul has worked extremely hard on developing his skills as a driver both on and off the track. He attended the Mike Calinoff Driver Development Clinic in October of 2006; in December of 2006 he was accepted to the Future Stars in Racing Academy where he has received training in various forms of media relations. Paul attended the Jeff Gordon Driving School at Lowe’s Motor Speedway in 2007, and just recently completed a 3-day driving course at the Rockingham Speedway with the Fast Track High Performance Driving School. Both of these schools enabled Paul to get experience in the larger more powerful cars he will be racing in the future.

Paul is also a proud member of the “Racing Against Cancer Team” and works locally to raise money for the charities they support.
